Accused in rape and dumping of four-year-old in DP net
The accused has been identified as Anil Pathak, who resides at some distance from the house of the victim girl. He is being interrogated by the police.
In a shocking incident, a four-year-old girl was abducted from outside her house and gangraped at an isolated place in Delhi’s Outer District. After committing the crime, the accused dumped the victim near a lake in critical condition before fleeing the spot.
Later, the people who came to know about the incident reached the spot and rushed the toddler to Babu JagJivan Ram Hospital in a serious condition. However, in view of her critical condition, she was referred to BR Ambedkar Hospital for the treatment.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Bhalswa Dairy Police Station and investigation has been taken up.

According to a police source, the girl was abducted on Wednesday when the girl was playing outside her house in the area of Bhalswa Dairy Police Station. As she went missing, her family started searching for her. But as they were not able to trace her after for hours, they approached the police. However, the police too were not able to trace the girl.
On Thursday morning at about 8 am, a call was received by the family informing that the girl was lying in a critical condition near Bhalswa Lake. The family reached the spot and rushed the victim to the hospital.
During her treatment at the hospital, the family came to know about her rape. According to a hospital source, the condition of the victim is said to be still critical.
The information was later passed to the police station and a case was registered. Police are trying to trace the accused involved in the crime.
